About

Amna Al Saleh is a Dubai based creative and founder of TEPINGI Design & Illustration. She has been drawing for as long as she remembers and soon grew to love design just as much. Amna graduated with a BA in Graphic Design and a Minor in Applied Psychology, and after several years of working as an in-house designer, she realized how little creativity there was. Taking a leap, she started TEPINGI as a way to provide solutions through creative concepts and designs.

Most of her work draws inspiration from the concepts of joy and curiosity; whether it is the choice of color, whimsical shapes, or constant experimentations. She still finds herself intrigued by her own Emirati culture, always seeking new stories about food, clothing, agriculture, and history. She has also found great inspiration from Japanese culture and designs, influencing her work through its simplicity and originality.

Amna has been working with individuals seeking joyful designs, start ups wanting creative solutions, and government entities looking for a colorful touch. Filled with wonder, Amna is constantly hungry to experiment, design, grow, and share her experiences as a Designer and Illustrator.

WHY TEPINGI?

As a creative, I find joy in solving problems in a creative way. With TEPINGI, design is not just a logo, it is the personality that goes with it; and illustration is not just a cool drawing, it is the story that takes you on a visual journey.

TEPINGI is all things joyful, colorful, imaginative, creative, and a little bit of weird (the good kind).
